Love

Love is one of the more striking gematria entries because its ordinal and reverse ordinal values are identical at 54, a symmetry gematria writers often read as fitting for a word about mutual, reciprocal connection. It reduces to Nine, a number tied to universal completion rather than narrow self-interest. The word's Old English root is shared across nearly all Germanic languages with strikingly similar forms, suggesting the underlying concept — and the word for it — predates the split of those languages from a common ancestor by a considerable stretch.
