Family

Family comes from the Latin "familia," which originally referred to a household including servants, not just blood relatives — a broader sense than the word carries in most everyday use today. Its ordinal value of 66 reduces to Six exactly at the level of the classic single-digit reading, without the extra reduction step several other words in this dictionary require — a clean match numerology writers frequently point to given Six's own strong association with home and domestic life. It shares its exact ordinal value with Freedom, two words with essentially opposite everyday connotations.
