Number — gematria and numerology meaning
Number
100
One hundred is 10 squared and the basis of the percentage, the century and many measures of completeness. In Hebrew the letter kuf has the value 100. Isaac sows and reaps a hundredfold in Genesis 26:12, and a hundredfold yield is used as a picture of abundance in the parable of the sower. It reduces to One in numerology.
In Irish, the greeting céad míle fáilte means "a hundred thousand welcomes," using the word céad for a hundred as a way of saying a great many.
